Namaskara! This will be a quick update (and a test of the Weebly app on my phone). The day's student leaders will post a more reflective entry later.  A visit to Gandhi's house.  Feeding especially sacred cows.   Hello family and friends of the Berkeley Carroll School program in India! The students have safely arrived in Mumbai and are on the way to the hotel. First stop: Mumbai, where we'll explore the city and wrestle with questions about colonization, urbanization, wealth disparity, and stereotypes about the "developing world." Then we'll spend a week in Heranjalu, a rural community in the southern state of Karnataka. We look forward to sharing our reflections with you here on the blog. Internet in Heranjalu can be temperamental, and our daily schedule packed, but we will do our best to post something every day.
